I came across an interesting fellow today at the park. He was walking his dog when my sister pushed her way to pet the adorable dog. At appearance the man seemed strange, yet somehow I was intrigued by him. He declared he was 80 years old, even though he looked no older then 50. He told me stories of his wonderful life. He traveled the world, worked in show business, and met tons of celebrities like Maryilyn Monroe! He was also a professor at Calstate Fullerton. His life seemed amazing, but when I made a statement saying, "Wow sir, you must be really satisfied with your life." He gave me a puzzled look and said, "No I didn't accomplish what I wanted to do, I wanted to work in Broadway. I had many opportunities but I wasted it, thinking I should stay with my partner." He then started dancing and remarked he could sing in 8 languages. By far he was the most interesting man I have ever met. But when I said," I wish my generation could have been as remarkable as yours." He gave a sly smile and his eyes were full of wonder. "You have to make your own life and live it. When you are my age, you can then reminisce the past for this generation like I did for you." At that moment I shooked his hand and was inspired. I believe it was meant to be that I ran into this fellow, he was truly brilliant.
